Digital collaboration is key to a more efficient and transparent construction industry. That’s why ZeeBoer is working with NVTB and Koninklijke Hibin to promote Product Information Management (PIM) among building product manufacturers.

On Wednesday, March 18, digoGO and NVTB, together with ZeeBoer and other PIM suppliers, are organizing a webinar on the value of well-designed product data.

One common language for product data

The construction industry is rapidly digitizing, but true efficiency only happens when manufacturers, wholesalers and specifiers speak the same data language. That’s where standardization comes in — using systems such as ETIM, DICO, STABU2, RAW and NL-SfB as shared foundations.

For NVTB, this is a logical step towards transparency and traceability: manufacturers must be able to demonstrate that their products meet regulations and specifications. Hibin recognizes the same need on the trade side, where up-to-date data is essential for tenders, quotations and digital catalogs.

PIM as the missing link

While many systems focus on internal use, Utopis PIM connects departments and makes product information available to the entire market. For the product manager, that means full control over up-to-date data and smooth connections with ETIM, 2BA and STABU. For the commercial director, it’s all about return on investment: fewer errors, faster publishing, and a more professional presentation toward specifiers and customers.

The result? A single source of truth that aligns with digital construction standards and a solid foundation for upcoming developments such as the Digital Product Passport (DPP) and the Quality Assurance Act (Wkb).

Webinar, March 18

In themed rounds, various vendors will demonstrate a single core functionality using practical examples:

  • how to efficiently manage and update product data,
  • how ETIM classification and data quality are supported in PIM,
  • and how to intelligently link product information with ERP, data pools, BIM, and websites.

Dirk Breedveld (Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment) will also discuss developments in CPR and DPP, and what this means for manufacturers.

All information available in one place.

All product data available in one platform.

Responding to digital building standards.

Efficiently manage and share product data.

Your product data better found.
