Architects and specifiers can easily configure a Plastica façade system.
Plastica’s new system configurator ensures that all materials are technically compatible and in line with Plastica’s application guidelines. The result is instantly available in STABU2 and NL-SfB format — ready for use in specifications and BIM.
The tool guides users through each step to configure a validated and buildable façade system. Thanks to Utopis PIM, the configurator automatically checks the selected materials for technical accuracy and consistency, reducing errors in the specification process.
The configured system can be exported as a STABU2 specification or NL-SfB structure, making it easy to integrate into BIM models. This ensures seamless communication between specifiers, contractors and the Plastica team.
Plastica’s product data is managed in ProPlanet by Gert Snoeren. Utopis PIM retrieves this data and transforms it into validated system configurations automatically. This keeps maintenance to a minimum while ensuring maximum reliability.
This project was developed by ZeeBoer’s colleagues Antoon and Jeroen, in close cooperation with Gert Snoeren from Plastica. Together, they created a smart, user-friendly, low-maintenance tool that helps specifiers make informed decisions.
