B&G Fencing has launched a new system configurator.
A smart tool that enables designers and contractors to assemble complete fencing systems with the right components and up-to-date specification texts. The solution was developed in collaboration with ZeeBoer, the Dutch expert in construction data and specification tools.
The system configurator allows users to put together fence, gates and access control systems step by step. All B&G products, variants and accessories are included. Incorrect product combinations are excluded automatically, ensuring every configuration meets technical and aesthetic requirements.
For users in the Netherlands, the configurator generates specification texts in RAW, STABU2, or as neutral text. This ensures seamless integration with the working methods of architects, engineers, and specification writers in both civil engineering and building construction.
The configurator also supports the Belgian “lastenboek”, providing both public and private specification formats in Dutch and French. This means designers and contractors in Flanders and Wallonia can use the same user-friendly tool to generate consistent documentation.
This innovative specification service is the result of close cooperation between Sam van de Wiel and Jan Gekiere of B&G Fencing, and Maarten Hopman of ZeeBoer. Their combined expertise in product data management and construction specifications has led to a future-proof solution that supports accurate and efficient project documentation across borders.
