With prefab construction, decisions are made earlier in the process. Materials, dimensions, connections and product combinations need to be properly coordinated before production starts.

This is something we recognise at ZeeBoer. With Utopis, we help manufacturers make their product and application knowledge available in a structured way. For example, through product configurators and specification services. This enables designers, consultants and other construction professionals to find the right solution, product combination and specification themselves.

Available digitally, 24/7. But that does not make personal contact any less important. A trade fair is still the ideal place to see solutions in real life, exchange knowledge and meet each other again.

Voortaan demonstrates collaboration

On Thursday afternoon, there is another reason for us to visit Den Bosch. From 14:00 to 17:00, Voortaan will host the event ‘Voortaan digitaal samenwerken in de bouw’ (‘Digital collaboration in construction with Voortaan’).

Together with other partners from the construction industry, ZeeBoer participates in Voortaan. The initiative brings together organisations, knowledge and digital information to make housing construction smarter and faster.

This fits perfectly with the idea behind prefab construction. After all, industrialising the construction process is about more than producing components in advance. Knowledge and information also need to reach the right party at the right time.
