In 1987, during the construction fair in Zuidlaren, De Boer van Megchelen presented the first specification service: that of Lapinus. And it is still successful!
Lapinus is now called Rockwool and our name was changed in 1997, but we have already had a relationship with each other for 35 years this year: a milestone. Other customers from the very beginning are Sikkens (1988), Eurocol (1990), Wédéflex (1993), Ecophon (1994) and a whole series from 1995: we can’t name them all… On average, customers have been with us for 12 years .
Another long-term relationship: we were the first STABU licensee and are therefore the oldest partner of Keten Standaard Bouw en Techniek. STABU2, RAW, ETIM, DICO and NL/SfB grew side by side with ZeeBoer into a success.
It is also 25 years ago this year that we launched the first RAW specification service.
Challenges for the future? We would like to show manufacturers that they can get started with this quickly and efficiently. So on to the next 35 years!
