Since the 1990s, BIT’s data center in Ede has been the home of the Utopis servers. That is about to change.
CSN Group, our service provider, moves all data to Amsterdam on November 28. Here, Utopis and other applications managed by ZeeBoer will from now on be hosted in the Interxion data center. The backups are stored at Previder, a data center in Twente.
Both CSN Group, part of Interstellar, and Interxion are ISO 27001 and ISO 22301 certified. This means that our customers’ data is safe and our systems are monitored 24/7.
Unfortunately, there is a disadvantage to moving: the switch has to be turned at some point. If the data is moved on November 28, ZeeBoer’s services and therefore our 140 clients will be temporarily unavailable.
